I have never been interested in easy answers.
I am a mortgage professional, technology founder, dealmaker, and business strategist shaped by more than two decades of work—and by a life that did not follow a straight line.
Where it started
I grew up on Long Island in an average family, played sports, stayed active, and entered the mortgage business in 1998. I learned the business young: how to read a complicated file, how to structure a deal, how to communicate when the pressure is high, and how much trust matters when someone puts their financial future in your hands.
Those early years also showed me what happens when basic principles are abandoned. At a time when questionable loan products were generating enormous profits, too many homeowners were being placed into payments they could not sustain and later faced foreclosure. I did not give in to that pressure. I would not recommend a loan I did not believe a borrower could reasonably afford, and I never let a commission come before a homeowner’s needs.
The principles are simple: tell the truth, protect the person who trusts you, and do the right thing even when the market rewards something else. They are exactly the principles our industry needs more of, and I remain committed to them today.
Over time, that same instinct for structure expanded beyond lending. I became interested in marketing, websites, applications, automation, AI, and the systems that connect people to opportunities.
The thread through everything I do is simple: find the real obstacle, understand the people involved, and build a path that works.
Rebuilt with greater strength and perspective
The 2008 market collapse was a hard reset for people, families, and businesses everywhere. It knocked many of us off the path we thought we were on, and I was no exception. Difficult times have a way of revealing what people are made of. I chose to adapt, rebuild from the ground up, and come back stronger—with broader perspective, better judgment, and a deeper understanding of how people and systems respond under pressure.
More than two decades of working across mortgages, real estate, business, technology, and human relationships have taught me how to understand both the people in front of me and the systems around them. I pay attention to how decisions are made, where communication breaks down, and what is really standing between someone and the outcome they need.
I genuinely love the work, especially when I can help someone solve a problem that has left them frustrated or stuck. I listen without judgment, communicate across different backgrounds and personalities, and stay composed when the pressure is high.
I have always thought outside the box. I do not automatically follow the beaten path or accept that the obvious answer is the only answer. I am willing to challenge assumptions, take smart, calculated risks, and keep working until I find a practical way forward.
That combination of experience, curiosity, and persistence shapes everything I do. When someone trusts me with a problem, I take it personally and do everything I can to help them move forward.
What I bring to the table
Mortgage experience
Since 1998, including difficult, nontraditional, investor, P&L, and DSCR scenarios.
Creative deal structure
The ability to see possibilities across the entire transaction, not only one isolated piece.
Technology and AI
Hands-on product thinking across websites, applications, automation, communication, and relationship intelligence.
Marketing and human behavior
A practical understanding of how people make decisions, build trust, and stay connected.
Today, I apply that combination through my mortgage work at NMB, the products being built at REL8TION LLC, and direct consulting for owners who need better ideas and a practical plan.
