About Jared Feder

I have never been interested in easy answers.

I am a mortgage professional, technology founder, dealmaker, and business strategist shaped by more than two decades of work—and by a life that did not follow a straight line.

Where it started

I grew up on Long Island in an average family, played sports, stayed active, and entered the mortgage business in 1998. I learned the business young: how to read a complicated file, how to structure a deal, how to communicate when the pressure is high, and how much trust matters when someone puts their financial future in your hands.

Over time, that same instinct for structure expanded beyond lending. I became interested in marketing, websites, applications, automation, AI, and the systems that connect people to opportunities.

The thread through everything I do is simple: find the real obstacle, understand the people involved, and build a path that works.

The years that changed everything

The 2008 market collapse had a profound effect on my life. A life that had once felt secure came apart. I lost everything financially, lost my fiancée to an overdose, and later received a ten-year prison sentence, of which I served eight and a half years.

I do not share that for sympathy or shock value. I share it because those years changed the way I understand people, adversity, judgment, and opportunity.

I spent years around people and circumstances most professionals never encounter. I learned how to communicate across backgrounds, cultures, personalities, and levels of pressure. I learned to listen without immediately judging, stay composed when a situation becomes difficult, and continue working when the expected path disappears.

I returned determined not to waste the experience or let it slow me down. I work hard every day for every person who trusts me with a problem.

What I bring to the table

Mortgage experience

Since 1998, including difficult, nontraditional, investor, P&L, and DSCR scenarios.

Creative deal structure

The ability to see possibilities across the entire transaction, not only one isolated piece.

Technology and AI

Hands-on product thinking across websites, applications, automation, communication, and relationship intelligence.

Marketing and human behavior

A practical understanding of how people make decisions, build trust, and stay connected.

Today, I apply that combination through my mortgage work at NMB, the products being built at REL8TION LLC, and direct consulting for owners who need better ideas and a practical plan.
